Structure of The School Day
School hours: 8.45 a.m. to 3.15 p.m. with a lunch break of 1 hour and mid-morning break of 15 minutes. The lower school also has a 10-minute break in the afternoon. Teaching time in the week exceeds the DCSF minimum requirements of 21 ½ hours per week.
School site opens from 8.30am and parents supervise their children until the doors open at 8.30 and they have seen their child into the school building. 8.30 a.m. KS2 pupils start to come in as part of a sort start through 3/4 and 5/6 doors 8.30 a.m. KS1 pupils start to come in through their classroom doors 8.45 a.m. Doors close, Registration and school starts. 11.45 a.m. – 12.45 p.m Reception Lunch time . 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Lunch time – Years 1 - 6 3.15 p.m. School Ends
