Bees Class
Autumn term
Bees Class are really happy to be back with their friends again! We have been settling back into our routines well and remember all the fun things we do at school together, like dancing, doing puzzles, going swimming and Forest School!
We have started the Autumn term by looking at the story of The Three Little Pigs. We have been thinking about how we can change the story to make our own version. We will also be looking at the story of Three Little Wolves and the big bad pig to look at the differneces and the similarities.
We have looked at our towns and contrasted them with homes found around the world. We have also looked at the art work of Marc Chagall and made our own versions. In PE we have been look at different ways of moving.
After half term we will be looking at Superheros and thinking about who might be a superhero in real life. We will be thinking about some historic figures who were also heroes and why they were important.
Spring Term
At Bees we’ve been busy talking about our Pets and what we need to do to look after them well. We’ve been enjoying some cooking making food inspired by Room on the Broom.
As we grew closer to Easter we planned how we could protect a raw egg from breaking in the ‘Great Egg Drop Challenge’.
We have started Bucket time and relax time after lunch. Learning to identify how our bodies feel when we are relaxed.
